About Paula

Scripture has never felt to me like a subject to master.

It has always felt like a place to dwell.

Over many years of teaching and listening, I have come to see how closely the lives of women in the Bible reflect our own interior experiences.

They knew grief.

They carried longing.

They faced uncertainty and made decisions without knowing how their stories would unfold.

Yet God met them there.

My Work

My work centers on helping women experience Scripture as something that can be lived, not simply studied.

Each teaching series explores the life of one woman from the Old or New Testament, integrating careful biblical reflection with attention to emotional life and spiritual discernment.

This work is broadly Christian in its invitation and rooted in historic faith. My own formation has been shaped within the Catholic tradition, but these teachings are offered to serve Christian women across denominations.

Why Women of Scripture

The women of the Bible are often mentioned briefly, yet their lives carry remarkable depth.

When we slow down and remain with their stories, we begin to recognize familiar patterns:

  • waiting
  • grief
  • courage
  • trust

Their lives help us recognize that our own experiences are not separate from faith.

Boundaries and Rhythm

This work is intentionally measured.

I release teachings in seasons rather than constant output.

I do not offer counseling through this website, but I welcome thoughtful correspondence and reflections.

My hope is simply to create a place where women can return again and again to encounter Scripture with steadiness and trust.
